MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Sacramento Asian Peace Officers Association is to promote professionalism, diversity, and community service.
ORIGINS
APOA was founded in 1991 by a very small group of dedicated Asian peace officers to work collaboratively with all law enforcement agencies for the promotion and advancement of Asian/Pacific Islanders within the law enforcement profession. They also believed in supporting the Asian community and began a partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of the greater Sacramento area.
